Swiss Finance Academy Summer Associate Program is a highly selective summer training program offering rigorous courses to MBAs, JDs, and other graduate students who wish to gain in-depth training in quantitative finance. The Summer Associate Program provides hands-on instruction not available in MBA programs or traditional summer associate positions, and prepares students to do due diligence, forecast markets, conduct rigorous valuations, and speak the language of industry executives.

Our courses are taught and developed by instructors with extensive business and finance experience, and their syllabi reflect the needs of top investment banks, multinational corporate finance and legal departments, and corporate and securities law firms.

The Swiss Finance Summer Associate Program far exceeds the training one receives as either a summer associate or as a new hire. This program prepares MBAs, law students, and other graduate students to successfully begin fast-paced careers in investment banking, capital markets, wealth management, trading, hedge funds, entrepreneurship and business consulting or other industries such as business law, which require in-depth understanding of finance.

The Summer Associate Program is designed to benefit those students concentrating in finance as well as those in a non-finance concentrations or professional schools. Strong applicants come from a wide range of majors and concentrations. Topics include M&A modeling, capital markets, IPOs, trading and behavioral finance, corporate finance and valuation, venture and angel capital, private equity and leveraged buyouts, hedge funds and strategies. Business strategy and consulting cases are also discussed.
