Career and Personal Development

The Swiss Finance Associate Program offers students a time to evaluate their technical skills, desired career objectives, and strategies for reaching these goals. It is also a superb forum to make friends who share your interests. For many associates, their time at Swiss Finance changed what they believed they were capable of. Associates are also pleased to discover how easily they relate to each other, based on shared goals and ways of approaching problems.

Swiss Finance offers numerous ways to help students develop their career and social goals. Career advice may come in the form of an informal discussion, group lecture or simply as a natural result of skill development. Friendships form through project teams, accommodations, and recreational activities.

Below are some of the recreational and networking opportunities associates enjoy.

Networking

At Swiss Finance, you have ample time to network and form friendships with classmates. Friends, roommates, and classmates are important resources when you have academic and social questions. Informal networks often lead to long-term friendships and can be used for seeking career assistance.

Alumni Clubs

Swiss Finance holds reunions and events around the world where alumni receive further networking opportunities with alumni from various classes and years. Many alumni events include complimentary continuing education components.

Travel

Depending on the program location, we organize relaxing cultural tours in order to allow participants and faculty to interact in informal settings and get to know each other. In Switzerland, we go on day excursions to neighboring countries or landmark attractions within the host country on a weekend.

Dining and Entertainment

If our program is in a metropolitan city like London, Boston, or New York, students may take advantage of theatrical and musical performances. Irrespective of the location, we always enjoy the native dining options from time to time. Note that the accommodation, meals, field trips and other activities vary from program to program, and location to location.

Opening and Closing Events

During the course of the program, you will have the opportunity to get to know the entire class. Welcome Day events are followed by informal student networking opportunities during which executive coaches or faculty members guide students through the process of getting to know as many people as possible.

Recreation

Depending on the location, students engage in activities such as evening soccer games, musical performances or other activities to relieve academic stress. In Verbier we hike some of the most amazing mountains in the Swiss Alps; New York and London, we do walking tours of the cities.

Student Diversity

One of the most exciting aspects of Swiss Finance is its cultural, academic, and professional diversity. With students coming from well over 70 universities in 35 countries and a wide range of academic majors at both undergraduate and graduate levels, we are truly international and diverse. In each training program, we bring together a class of dynamic, fresh individuals eager to launch successful.
