Trends in technology, globalization, outsourcing and banking consolidation are putting unprecedented demands on current graduates. Employers are demanding more applied skills from MBA and graduate students, and as the competition for employment becomes increasingly steep, one needs to distinguish one's self from peers by bringing a multitude of skills to the table. This is particularly true in investment banking, corporate and securities law, consulting, and business management. Swiss Finance Academy Associate Program is designed to help you bridge the theory - application gap, and graduate with something very few graduate students have: perspective and insight on the essential skills from the executive level. Swiss Finance will give you a competitive edge, and launch your career to the next level.
Unlike other university executive education programs with business and finance
curricula, our programs are taught by executives, entrepreneurs
and graduate business school professors with extensive industry
as well as teaching experience. They have been in the “trenches”
of the business and Wall Street worlds, and can offer you
the kind of applied, practical knowledge,
insights and skills that you need to succeed.
The perspective you receive at Swiss Finance
goes far beyond theoretical knowledge. Because our instructors have all held executive level positions, they are well-equipped to dispense candid insight and perspective from their vantage points. Our students learn a framework
for success as they emerge from our rigorous programs with
vital, marketable business skills which distinguish Swiss Finance alumni
from other job-seekers.
The Swiss Finance Associate Program is designed to simulate real-world investment environments. Students become adept at handling pressure, high-stakes presentations, valuations, and negotiations at the program so they start work seamlessly. Learning takes place in a variety of forms, below are a few.
Lectures and Evening Sessions Lectures may take up a large portion of the day, and may sometimes feature more than one instructor. Evening sessions may cover applied skills, group tutoring sessions, career coaching, independent homework assignments, and team projects. |
Study Groups Students are assigned
to teams and groups to discuss projects, cases,
and lecture materials. Many choose to study
in groups to prepare for exams. Study groups
meet in the evenings, several times each week.

Project Teams Each project group contains several members who are responsible for completing team assignments by the stated deadlines. Projects involve group study, meetings, strategy sessions, analysis, and write-ups. Prior to a major deadline, team sessions may last for long hours.

Presentations Delivery of presentations before clients and analysis of case studies before colleagues constitute an integral part of our training programs. Participants receive an exciting experience similar to a real-life scenario. These are a source of learning for everyone in the program. |
