Master of Business Administration (Investment Banking and Capital Markets Focus) Curriculum

Just the Facts

- Students earn the MBA degree by completing several comprehensive in-residence modules over a period of time. Candidates must acquire the required number of course credits to be eligible for the MBA degree.

- Prior to enrolling in the 1 Year MBA, the candidates must have completed pre-requisite coursework in accounting, economics and statistics.

- We have a distinct focus. It is on corporate finance, M&A transactions, international investing, international capital markets, accounting for investors and investment bankers, Austrian economics and macroeconomic investing, cross border entrepreneurship, the geography and geopolitics of investing, organizational behavior with focus on investment banks and entrepreneurial start-ups, illiquid assets such as VC and real estate, and wealth management strategy.

Face-to-face and Externship Modules - How it works

Students begin by attending a face-to-face module. In these modules, students learn the foundational skills by going through our core curriculum. Students benefit from expert insight and coaching offered by faculty mentors. Face-to-face modules are offered at various locations throughout the year and allow the candidates to evaluate if Swiss Finance, School of Business might be a good fit for them. Similarly, it allows the faculty members to establish if a student might be a good fit for the MBA degree program.

While completing their MBA degree, students may have full time employment, internships other rigorous projects. Through consultation with faculty mentors, students select or design their own research project, field-based assessment, or internship. Students are encouraged to tailored internships to their current or future occupational goals.
